A local moving company with experience from more than 7,000 jobs
Flyttebyrået Jarlsberg was founded in Tønsberg in 2005. Since then we have helped individuals, families, estates and businesses with everything from a simple furniture delivery to large moves across Europe.

How much does it cost to use a moving company?
The price depends on how much is being moved, the distance and how easy it is to reach the door with the moving van. For smaller moves we have fixed packages from NOK 9,450. Call us or send a request for a free, no obligation quote.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you know your moving date. The end of the month, the summer and the weeks before school starts fill up quickly. If your date is flexible, it is easier to find a day that suits.
How can we make the move as cheap as possible?
Have everything packed when we arrive, and place the boxes near the exit or in the garage if it is a long way from the door to the van. The less time we spend on site, the lower the bill.
Does everything have to be packed before you arrive?
No. We can dismantle furniture, pack, remove waste and take care of everything that needs doing. It takes longer than carrying and transport alone, and that is reflected in the price.
Are my belongings insured during the move?
We have goods in transit insurance in case anything happens. If you have items of high value, you should still check that your home contents insurance covers the move, or consider separate insurance.
Do you clear estates?
Yes. We clear and empty the home, take waste to recycling and help sell anything of value, if you wish. Contact us for a no obligation chat.
Do you offer move out cleaning?
Yes, we provide move out cleaning to estate agent standard, with a guarantee to the new owners. Book the cleaning together with your move and you get a discount.
Do you move outside Vestfold?
Yes. We move throughout Norway and Europe, and have our own offices in both Eastern Norway and Bergen.
