Who is responsible

When you ask for a quote or contact us
When you send the quote request form, we receive your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, the addresses you are moving from and to, your preferred date and what you write in the message. If you call or email us, we receive the information you give us yourself.
We use the information to reply to you, give you a quote and plan and carry out the job. The legal basis is that you ask us for a quote before a possible agreement, and that we need the information to fulfil the agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
How long we keep the information
Requests that do not lead to a job are deleted no later than 12 months after our last contact. If there is a job, we keep the information while the job lasts, and accounting records such as invoices for five years, as the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act requires (Article 6(1)(c)).
Who processes the information for us
The form is stored in the website database and sent to us by email. We use providers for running the website and for email, and they only process the information on our behalf. We never sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone other than these providers unless the law requires it.
Statistics and ads
The website counts visits with its own visit counter, which uses no cookies and stores no IP addresses. It only stores combined numbers per day, such as how many people visited a page, tapped the phone number or sent the form.
Google Analytics and Google Ads are only used if you have given consent in the cookie banner. If you have consented to marketing and send the form, your email address and phone number may be sent to Google Ads in hashed (encrypted) form, so that we can measure which ads lead to enquiries. Google may process data in the USA, which is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can change your consent at any time. Read more on the cookies page.
Your rights
You can ask for access to the information we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to restrict the processing, object to it or receive a copy of your data. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send an email to post@fbjarlsberg.no, and we will reply within 30 days.
If you believe we process personal data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet). We appreciate it if you contact us first, so we can put it right.
Changes
